Who We Are

We’re Mak and Rachael from Art Rayz. We’re a married couple from Atlanta, Georgia. We met in college at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. We had similar classes and interests, including sustainability, sculpture and psychedelic art. We immediately became good friends and study partners. We valued each other’s creativity and enjoyed sharing our projects and ideas. After a hard semester, our friend group decided to go on a spring break vacation. We took a road trip to Ocean City, Maryland and camped out on the beach. We began to understand our deeper feelings for one another. Ten years later, we got married on Ocean City beach surrounded by our incredible family and loved ones.

What began as a road trip has evolved into a mission. We are dedicated to making your creative impossibilities come true. To connect and uplift aspiring artists, vendors and creatives. To share and gain inspiration from the vast creative community. Like our relationship, we value all of our connections. We cherish every person who’s supported us, who’s shown up for us, and who’s simply reached out to tell us “good work”. We believe in simple ideas, strong relationships, and a lasting impact. We nurture your wildest dreams into reality.
